BBC Live Studio Audiences want to invite you to be part of the recording of a brand new pilot sitcom for Radio 4.
"BuyMeUp TV stars Justin Edwards, Doon MacKichan and Mike McShane in a comedy set both in front of and behind the camera of a 24 hour shopping network where the high pressure of live broadcast meets the high pressure of sales. The egos, the tantrums, the disasters, the jealousies – our characters are swimming for their lives in a sales driven pressure cooker. Then all of a sudden they’ll have to smile for the camera…BuyMeUp TV pokes fun at office relationships inside a unique industry, where daily life is woven through a show that simply must go on.
The pilot recording for this programme is Sunday 29 April 2007 at The Cochrane Theatre, Southampton Row, London WC1B 4AP with doors opening at 7.30pm.
