This morning started with a power cut, so I had a candlelit bath by necessity. I popped my head out of the front door to be greeted by bemused flirty neighbour (he also thought he'd been cut off for non-payment of bills and was relieved to find the whole house/street was affected instead). Apparently it is a good omen, according to him - the day could only get better from here on in.
I'm going to leave work early to hang out with my 'wife', see some art and drink some gin. Then I shall be changing into something much less comfortable and attending a swank party. So I suspect bemused flirty neighbour is right. Good lad.
