I'm going on a cheapo girly night out tonight, where we're going to max out a Wagamama 2-for-1 voucher (only order 2 main courses and drink the unlimited free green tea that they don't exactly shout about), and then use a £4.25 Vue cinema ticket (from lastminute). Hurrah! Before that, I'm going to have my stitches out (not sure if that's a hurrah or a boo).

Yesterday was pretty cheap as well - it was 'beauty night' in my house, which consisted of full pedicure, manicure, lashings of tea, healthy food, face pack, hair mask, eyebrow tidying etc. Oh, and for the first time in ages I watched some telly: Rick Stein, Heroes, and something I think was called Brothers and Sisters. Now I look much less like a yeti, anyway. I also managed a fringe cut on the way home, which will tide me over for a while.

In Sainsbury's I noticed they have 2-for-1 deals on most types of Colgate Total toothpaste, and Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners. They are also doing two packets of L'Oreal sensitive skin facial wipes for £5 - OK, not the best thing to use every day, agreed, but they are a godsend to dirty stop-outs everywhere. Needless to say, I stocked up.

The weather is so crap that I've given up on summer clothes, and am now planning my winter wardrobe. So, off to www.style.com for some ideas...
