Extra delivery

Word has it that a few TKMaxx stores just took delivery of some Very Famous and Posh Names in womenswear (jeans, tops, dresses, coats, you name it). Should all be on the rails first thing tomorrow morning, bargain hunters. I'll be checking it out for sure.

Participating stores: Birmingham (Bullring), Brent Cross Shopping Park (next to Borders), Bromley (High St), Cambridge (Beehive Centre), Cheadle (Stanley Green Retail Park), Clapham (St John's Rd), Croydon (Purley Way), Hammersmith, Hatfield (Galleria), Harrogate (Victoria Shopping Centre), High St Kensington, Kew Retail Park, Kingston (Bishops Palace House), Lewisham (High St), Manchester (Arndale Centre) and Thurrock.

In which case, a snuffle around the TKMaxx cosmetics and home fragrance/candles section might see you right. Never heard it from me though. x

Damn fine idea. It's Chefboy's birthday coming up too, so I might have a shufti round the kitchen section - they've had some lovely bits and pieces in the past and he does like his gadgets ...

I wasn't in the least bit tempted by any of the clothes and distinctly put off by all the Halloween crap in the Lewisham store.

I did, however, find a set of 6 absolutely stonkingly beautiful martini glasses - the lads have been looking for some nice ones for yonks - down from £48 to £14.99 - now wrapped up as an extra birthday pressie for Chefboy.

I hope you're proud of me - staunchly averting my eyes from the newly-delivered jeans ....
